As an Indirect Retail Strategy Specialist, you will be responsible for supporting and executing RBH’s indirect retail strategy for our full portfolio, inclusive of Combustible Cigarettes (CCs) and Non-Combustible Alternatives (NCAs) across our National Universe of 20,000+ POS. We are looking for someone who has a strong ability to communicate, collaborate and lead small-to-medium sized projects, is inherently organized with the agility to multi-task in a fast-paced environment and curious, with a keen sense for analytics. YOUR DAY TO DAY • Support in the development of channel roles and channel mix optimization to execute the omnichannel commercialization strategy according to PMI guidelines. • Enhance, maintain, and execute the trade segmentation strategy, ensuring that all segments have a clear view on their role and capabilities with respect to both the NCA and CC business. • Support and contribute to the design of an ecosystem that enables a holistic consumer journey across products and services promoting conversion and retention. • Support the development and deployment of launch strategies for all new product launches and line extensions. • Execute and deploy the NCA Go-To-Market Strategy for the entire indirect universe, working closely with the Distribution and Demand Planning teams to align on forecasts and inventory management. • Collaborate with SMEs, Trade Activation, Commercial Planning and all relevant stakeholders to develop, implement and monitor the trade commercialization plan, aligned with the overall strategy. • Analyze indirect retail sales data and identify opportunities for growth; Track effectiveness of the trade model deployed in all selected channels and recommend solutions to achieve the highest ROI. • Collect data on, and analyze market parameters (business targets, market size, competitive intelligence from open sources, smoking / nicotine usage incidence, geography) • Identify new process improvement opportunities with respect to executional excellence, cost management and overall commercial performance. • Develop and maintain Standard-Operating-Procedures (SOPs), commercial processes and guidelines, and collaborate with stakeholders to cascade and execute across all layers of the commercial organization. • Work with SMEs and retail budget owners in preparing and maintaining Rolling Forecasts (RFs) and the Original Budget (OB) • In conjunction with Corporate Affairs and Legal Counsel, ensure compliance within the context of current legislation, local regulations, and PMI policies/code of conduct. WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR • A bachelor’s degree in business or a related discipline. • Commercial Planning, Sales Strategy or Trade Marketing Experience; 3-5 years in Commercial areas. • Strong ability to communicate, collaborate and lead small-to-medium sized projects; inherently organized with the agility to multi-task in a fast-paced environment; curious, with a keen sense for analytics. • Superior knowledge of business analytics and presentation tools including Excel and PowerPoint. • Consistently demonstrate strong analytical and strategic capabilities as well as the courage to challenge the status quo in the pursuit of improved consumer centricity and business results. • Willingness to seek out information across various sources to drive our Trade Strategy with data led insights and market know-how. • Ability to work both in a project management capacity, and a detail-oriented, hands-on capacity. • Strong project management skills, with a proven track record of building relationships to collaborate cross-functionally toward a common purpose and achieve results. • Strong attention to detail, and a critical thinker with the agility to solve problems in a fast-paced environment. • Must be motivated and able to work with minimal supervision. • Ability to deliver concise and well-articulated communications – requires strong verbal, written, visual/presentation, and interpersonal communication skills. For this position the salary range is between $103 700 to $110 186 based on the level of experience plus a variable compensation based on performance.
